Exit Slip 4.27.10

The importance of today's concept was how to find the height for different number of radius but keeping the value of volume the same.To find my answers i used division by using the calculator. This mathematical tool helped me solve my answer easier because all i had to do was insert my equation and i'd get my answer for my heights.

Exit Slip 4.23.10

Today in class, Bria and I helped each other sole the surface area and the volume of our can. I was able to accomplish all of my classwork, that includes finding the measurements of the can, surface area, and the volume. I learned to find the measurements of a cylinder, im not sure how this can be useful outside of school. I have no questions =)

Lesson 3 Compare and Contrast..Exit Slip

Today's lesson we were told to choose two functions from a previous work. By using the Google Docs we had to compare and contast the two functions. To do so, we needed to create a table labeling it by categories, the highest degree, third, second and first degree term, also the constant term. After labeling, we had to determine them. From both functions we were able to compare them.

Lesson 3 Compare and Contrast.. Exit Slip

For today's lesson, we were told to compare two functions..to do so another function needed to be added to our previous graph after we've chosen a function, then graph it and once it was graphed, you were able to determine the difference between the two functions.

Progress Update!

I generalized by using my results from all 4 different designs i came up with. On my y axis i numbered it according to what i got in the calculator and numbered it according to the maxium. On the x axis i went by 2s i think this is a easier way to graph my results. I organized my tables by using the designs, all i had to do for each table was find the lenght, width, girth, and volume. By the end, i needed to put together a function that will allow me to insert into the calculator to get the numbers to graph. Btw this project is hard!"/
